How Participants Do the Assessment

From registration to a visible competency signal.

Participants complete two assessment layers, review their dimensional competency results, and use the output to plan learning more precisely or support internship and on-the-job training opportunities.

Register

Participants create an account and select the assessment pathway they want to complete.

Complete Layer 1

Participants complete the Sector Awareness Assessment to measure their understanding of industry context, ecosystem, trends, risks, and key metrics.

Complete Layer 2

Participants complete the Functional Readiness Assessment to evaluate their readiness for a specific work function.

Receive Results

The competency result is generated as a dimensional radar chart, showing strengths and gaps across assessed competency areas.

Export Transcript

Participants can export a competency transcript containing the list of assessed competencies and scores. The transcript shows which areas and sub-areas still need improvement, while the system provides recommended learning topics to support focused reflection and more efficient study planning.

Use the Signal

Participants can use their result to apply for internship or on-the-job training opportunities with partner companies. A public learner profile can also be activated.

The competency transcript helps participants estimate their time to competence: what they need to learn, how much learning effort may be required, and which areas should be prioritized first.
Assessment model note: Baugment’s assessment model is inspired by the four-level competency progression approach in UNESCO’s SDG 4 and digital transformation framework. For this assessment pathway, Baugment focuses on the first two levels: Awareness and Application.
